Training on Organizational Development, Rights and Laws for CBOs

From March 14 to 18, 2016, in Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh city, SCDI has organized 2 trainings on organizational development, rights and laws for community based organizations.
Understanding the need to improve the knowledge and skills of CBOs on organizational development in order to foster change and sustainability, SCDI organized 2 trainings in Hai Phong and HCM city for CBOs of sex workers aiming to raise their awareness and understanding on the rights of sex workers and on the current related policies, namely the Law on Administrative Sanctions.
The training also provided a section on “unlocking your personalities” to help members understand their own as well as their peers’ personalities so they can understand and work better with each other.

“In just 2 days, I have learnt so many new things about myself, about others and how we can protect ourselves. I also know more about my rights and the laws that are protecting me, thus I can cope better with the Authority” said Dinh Thi Huyen, from Black Roses (Hai Phong).
“I really appreciate the training. I think the content is very useful and having learnt about solving conflicts will help us to work better with each other” added Nguyen Quynh Trang (Hai Phong).
