The evening of October 10th marked the successful implementation of the COMMUNITY FAIR, getting inspiration from a collaborative effort between SCDI, community representatives in Vietnam, and various organizations dedicated to combating HIV, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. The event aimed to express gratitude towards team members who share a common mission of ending these three diseases globally, as well as to extend a warm welcome to the members of the Global Fund Board convening in Hanoi for their 49th meeting.

The program highlighted the enduring partnership between the Global Fund with communities affected by HIV, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. Participants proudly wore ribbons featuring the three colors of the Global Fund, symbolizing unity and solidarity, which the program aimed to spread. Furthermore, the program was accompanied by a vibrant gala featuring artistic performances inspired by the spirit of the community.

The delegates lit candles to commemorate those who lost their lives to the three diseases HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria in a poignant memorial ceremony. Community representatives then took the stage, offering captivating performances ranging from national songs filled with pride and liveliness to the emotionally charged Bingo program presented by Huong Nam Bingo.

SCDI extends sincere appreciation to the Global Fund, members of the Global Fund Council, representatives of the National Coordinating Board of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in Vietnam, representatives of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), as well as the community members and approximately 200 guests who attended the event. Their presence contributed to a vibrant and engaging evening, with a a varied range of emotions, from profound to joyful, explosive, and proud.
