Following Tet holiday, members of the Community System to End TB (CSET) in Ho Chi Minh City embarked on home visits to support patients undergoing treatment. These visits aimed to encourage patients, provide practical assistance, address concerns, and ensure they did not feel isolated in their fight against tuberculosis (TB).
Vy, a dedicated CSET member in Ho Chi Minh City, shared, "After Tet, I visited patients who were udergoing TB treatment. Before and after Tet, everyone went for their follow-up appointments as scheduled to collect their medication and ensure they are adhering to their TB treatment correctly and consistently. They shared that by following the medication regimen, they feel healthier every day."

Navigating the path to TB recovery can be challenging. How can individuals who may not fully understand TB proactively seek screening and adhere to treatment? This is a critical question as we strive to combat this disease.
Every patient who undergoes screening initiates treatment and perseveres in their journey, even if it feels like a small step, represents a significant achievement for the CSET community. By supporting these individuals, we are improving their health and protecting the entire community's health. The inspiring stories shared by patients and their families are the motivation for CSET to continue supporting patients, especially those in difficult circumstances.
The journey to end TB requires a collective effort from the entire society, extending beyond the healthcare sector. Thanks to the enthusiasm and dedication of CSET members, the vision of a TB-free future is gradually becoming a reality. This collective commitment brings us closer to the ambitious goal of ending TB by 2035.
