Sharing knowledge about SOGIESC

In December 2022, SCDI organized the SOGIESC Seminar with the goal of creating safe and inclusive environments for LGBT+ individuals in educational institutions. The sharing session was attended by experts, community representatives, lecturers, and students from the University of Labor and Social Affairs and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

During the seminar, participants engaged in open and honest discussions to gain a deeper understanding of the LGBTIQ+ community and their unique needs. This led to the exploration of new perspectives and a commitment to increasing sensitivity to address gaps in providing physical, mental health, and psychological services for LGBTIQ+ individuals. The aim is to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.
