VCSPA 2022 Annual Meeting 

SCDI organized the VCSPA2022 annual meeting event in Hue city with 06 plenary sessions, 15 parallel sessions and a well-prepared gala night.  At the plenary sessions and in parallel, a lot of useful information was shared among delegates and the community on practical issues with vulnerable community groups. During the gala night, SCDI held a candlelight vigil for members who died of HIV and COVID-19 and a series of special performances by the community.

Advocating for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria

In the process of advocating for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, SCDI visited and met with Mr. Kees Van Baar – Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Vietnam. During the visit, Dr. Khuat Thi Hai Oanh – Director of SCDI presented the ambassador with a picture made from cranes, prepared by the community, and she shared about the impact of the Global Fund on the health and lives of vulnerable groups in Vietnam. Organizations from the Netherlands are close friends and enthusiastic supporters of SCDI.
