Collaborative Community Health Program between SCDI and VinUniversity

Within the framework of the social cooperation program between SCDI and the Institute of Health Sciences – VinUniversity in 2022-2023, 11 students met with vulnerable communities, learned about their circumstances, medical examination and treatment needs and developed initiatives to help them improve their health and quality of life with 12 weeks of productive work.

SCDI joined the World Tuberculosis Day celebration meeting in Hai Phong  

On March 24th, SCDI participated in the meeting to celebrate World Tuberculosis Day in Hai Phong, organized by the City People's Committee with the message "Yes! We can end TB!". In 2022, SCDI cooperated with the city anti-tuberculosis program and Hai Phong Lung Hospital to organize mobile X-ray screening. In 2023, SCDI will continue to coordinate with local departments, anti-TB programs and social organizations to support the implementation of screening activities, proactively detecting people with TB and latent TB early.

Meeting to discuss the implementation plan for the 2023 GF/HIV and Saving the Future project

SCDI officials and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) from 7 provinces convened a meeting to discuss the implementation plan for the GF/HIV and Saving the Future project in 2023. During the meeting, officials presented the outcomes of the two projects in 2022 and engaged in discussions about the achievements. Additionally, the community shared challenges, barriers, and strategies to overcome obstacles while carrying out activities and participating in data management training. Community groups that made positive contributions to SCDI's activities in 2022 were recognized and honored with certificates of merit.
