From June 15 to 20, SCDI took part in the REGENERATE Leadership & Learning Institute on Gender Justice and Sexual Rights, organized by APCASO in Bangkok. The training gathered over 35 representatives from dynamic civil society and community organizations across the Asia-Pacific region.

Joining SCDI were representatives from the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) and other Vietnamese organizations working in the fields of HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, and support for vulnerable communities.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in learning and discussions on concepts such as gender equality, social inclusion, and their impacts on health programs and the rights of women, girls from key populations, and sexually diverse communities. The institute emphasized action planning, fostering transformative mindsets, and encouraging sustainable change within communities.

The insights shared and explored during the training not only enhanced participants' awareness but also offered fresh perspectives for designing and implementing more inclusive and equitable health programs. These efforts contribute to building a healthcare system that meets the needs of all groups, ensuring that no one is left behind.
