Recently, high school students in the "Breaking the Cycle" project in Ho Chi Minh City gathered to share their plans for 2025. During this session, the project members experimented with the "Sharing Circle" method, creating a safe and open space for everyone to express their thoughts.

It was heartwarming to see that all the students set goals to complete the school year with good results and continue their education. Notably, the 12th graders have clear plans and strong determination for the upcoming university entrance exams. To the project team members, there’s no greater joy than witnessing seeds of hope gradually sprouting in these young individuals the project supports. Now, not only are they striving to attend school and study hard, but they are also proactively setting clear goals to work toward their futures. This is the first and most crucial step in helping them develop and break free from the cycle of poverty.
Additionally, first and second-graders in the project participated in a delightful activity at the SCDI Ho Chi Minh City office this past week. The children read books, summarized the content, and shared lessons learned from the stories. This activity not only brought joy but also helped the kids develop critical thinking and listening skills.

Such gatherings continue to be regularly organized by the "Breaking the Cycle" project, fostering a safe environment for the children to interact and learn. At the same time, these activities help the project team better understand the children’s aspirations, enabling them to provide suitable solutions for their comprehensive and sustainable development.
