REGENERATE: Shared learning, collective voices and a continuing journey

How can we strengthen access to healthcare so that no one is left behind?

At the REGENERATE community session, members working with people affected by HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, and other vulnerable groups came together to explore this question. Through open dialogue and reflection, participants shared their experiences and challenges in ensuring timely and appropriate care for the communities they serve.

They discussed practical approaches to bring prevention, treatment, and care services closer to those in need, across diverse and often hard-to-reach settings. Each story, each reflection, helped shape new perspectives—empowering participants to become bridges between communities and the health system, and to drive meaningful change toward inclusive and equitable healthcare.

Participants sharing their experiences:

“I will bring these insights back to my community and apply them in every activity to support vulnerable groups, especially people affected by HIV, TB, and malaria.”
“I will step out of my comfort zone, listen, and act so that our community’s priorities are heard.”

The stories shared at REGENERATE mark the beginning of an inspiring collective journey—a journey where each participant reconnects with their purpose, strengthens solidarity, and contributes to building a more inclusive, diverse, and sustainable healthcare environment for all.
