Recently, SCDI had the honor of hosting Associate Professor Ann-Claire Gourinat, Deputy Coordinator of the French National Agency for Research on HIV, Viral Hepatitis, and Emerging Infectious Diseases (Inserm - ANRS-MIE). She visited the Hải Phòng office and met with the Hải Đăng community group.
During the meeting, Associate Professor Ann-Claire engaged with SCDI and Hải Đăng to discuss ongoing initiatives in Hải Phòng, particularly the DRIVE project. The Hải Đăng group shared insights into the challenges their clients are facing as well as the specific support they provide on a daily basis. On this occasion, the group also expressed their desire to continue collaborating with SCDI and ANRS-MIE in future activities to contribute even more to the community.

Associate Professor Ann-Claire remarked: “The work of community groups carries immense significance. You are the ones directly on the ground, helping clients overcome challenges to access the best possible services.”
Her recognition not only serves as a powerful source of encouragement and acknowledgment of the community’s critical role and SCDI’s tireless efforts but also opens up positive prospects for future collaboration.
