Diverse activities for the children in the "Breaking the Cycle" program in Ho Chi Minh City

Building on the ongoing career orientation and self-esteem activities for children participating in the Break the Cycle program in Ho Chi Minh City, last weekend's session offered another opportunity for children to learn, reflect, and grow together.

The activities combined practical learning with self-exploration. Children explored a "career world map" to discover different pathways for their future, while an emotion colour-mapping exercise helped them recognise their feelings, understand how negative thoughts can influence behaviour, and practise reframing those thoughts in more positive and constructive ways.

Together, these activities equip children with practical tools and new perspectives to support their educational journeys while strengthening their emotional wellbeing in everyday life.

SCDI sincerely thanks our dedicated volunteers for their continued commitment and partnership in creating meaningful learning opportunities for children.
