SCDI presents to readers the outstanding news of December 2024
SCDI at the British International School Hanoi Christmas event
On December 13th, SCDI joined the festive cheer at the British International School Hanoi (BIS Hanoi) Christmas festival! Brimming with handmade crafts, decorations, and festive accessories, our vibrant booth was a popular stop for children and parents alike. Many kids were especially drawn to our activities, particularly learning about the "Breaking the Cycle" project, which supports children from disadvantaged families in accessing education.

SCDI brought Christmas cheer to children in the "Breaking the Cycle" project
In the spirit of the Christmas season, SCDI and a team of dedicated volunteers organized a series of heartwarming activities for children participating in the Breaking the Cycle project in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Volunteers from Hyundai Jump School and the Handmade for Community Club at Hanoi National University played a vital role in making the Hanoi celebration a resounding success. Children were captivated by fun games and a delightful performance by the Handmade for Community Club, filling the air with laughter and joy.

In Ho Chi Minh City, SCDI, One Egg a Day, and volunteers from HCMC's specialized high schools transformed the day into a magical Christmas experience for 38 children. Laughter filled the air as the children joyfully participated in games and eagerly penned letters to Santa Claus. Adding to the festive spirit, SCDI staff and volunteers donned Santa hats and delivered meaningful gifts to the children.
