Evaluating the progress of the Global Fund Project to Fight HIV/AIDS in Quang Ninh and Hai Phong

On June 26 and 27, the supervisory team of the Global Fund Project to Fight HIV/AIDS, implemented by SCDI under the management of VUSTA, held meetings with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and community-based organizations (CBOs) in Quang Ninh and Hai Phong. These activities aimed to monitor and evaluate the progress of community-level interventions within the project.

During the meetings, SCDI presented a report on the project’s implementation in the region for 2025. The supervisory team acknowledged the effectiveness of the intervention models, shared practical outcomes, and discussed solutions to enhance collaboration between VUSTA and the Quang Ninh CDC moving forward.

The Quang Ninh CDC highly praised the project’s role and the efforts of community groups in combating HIV/AIDS. The implemented intervention models not only effectively reached high-risk groups but also supported treatment retention and reduced stigma against people living with HIV.
