As part of the DREAMH project, SCDI recently organized three training sessions to prepare for upcoming community-based mental health activities.
The sessions brought together SCDI local staff, community-based groups, social enterprises that will be working alongside the project during implementation, and representatives from Intellect - our partner providing digital solutions for DREAMH’s online mental health intervention.
Throughout the sessions, participants were instructed on the project's standard operating procedure (SOP), including steps for mental health screening using the Quick Screening Tool (QST), counselling, referrals, as well as client follow-up and support. The sessions also covered guidance on conducting group communication activities, group sessions, healing activities, and the online intervention process, helping teams prepare for implementation across different project sites.

Beyond technical guidance, the project team and partners also reviewed important points related to data protection, financial procedures, and reporting. These discussions helped strengthen a shared understanding of how different partners will coordinate in practice.
We would like to thank L'Initiative - Expertise France for making these meaningful exchanges possible, and for the the participants for the active engagement in the dialogues, which helped strengthen alignment and shared commitment for the activities ahead.
