On October 16th, SCDI organized the press conference “Synthetic drugs addiction: preventable and treatable” in Ha Noi, with the participation of esteemed speakers, including Dr. Nicole Lee – Director of 360Edge (Australia), Dr. Huynh Thanh Hien – Deputy Head of T3 Department, HCMC Mental Hospital, Mr. Nick Veldwijk – Regional Manager Asia, Mainline (Netherlands) and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Duc – Leader of Green Belief, Saving the Future Project.
During the press conference, the panelists shared updated information on the current trends of synthetic drug use worldwide, along with in-depth discussions on effective prevention and treatment solutions. The press conference created an open forum between journalists and guestspeakers, who are international and national experts in the field of harm reduction, prevention and treatment for people who use synthetic drugs, mental health and CBOs which provide services for young people using drugs.
