The Ho Chi Minh City and Southern Region Office implements activities to engage and enhance the capacity of community groups to conduct outreach, provide knowledge, and support vulnerable and marginalized populations; also strengthens responses to the impacts of poverty, stigma, and discrimination.

Additionally, the office mobilizes community participation and social resources to sustain support for impoverished populations, slum dwellers, and homeless individuals, and facilitates access to social services.
