Planning for TB control in the second half of 2025

On July 22–23, the implementation workshop for the second-half tuberculosis (TB) control plan took place in Pleiku, Gia Lai. The event brought together representatives from the National TB Control Program, provincial lung hospitals (Nghe An, Dak Lak, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Gia Lai), Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital, various partners, and members of the CSET network from multiple provinces.

Participants reviewed the current status of TB prevention and control, and discussed challenges in case detection and treatment—particularly drug-resistant TB—in the context of ongoing health system restructuring. Updates from the National Program helped provinces adjust their interventions to better fit local realities.
